“THE FATE OF A FLIRT”
COMING TO PRINCESS AND TIVOLI Dorothy Revier and Forest Stanley come to the Princess and Tivoli theatres next Thursday as the chief principals of a cast not less well known as regards its non-starred players. Thomas Ricketts and Phillips Smalley are two names that look well on any cast list, for example. It la well to say at the beginning, however, that Miss Revier and Mr. Stanley have hardly done better work in their whole careers. Miss Revier is that exceedingly beautiful young lady, the winner of innumerable beauty contests and the usuar choice of artists for “California's Most. Beautiful,” who also happens to be an excellent and accomplished player. The feature is "The Fate of a Flirt,” one of Columbia’s Waldorf series productions, in which we have become accustomed to the lovely young star. The play deals with the love of a young heiress for one who works as tinchauffeur for her aunt. This aunt, vain and ambitious, has other plans for her neice. This is marrutge to Sir Gilbert, a young English lord whom she ha.* never seen. The chauffeur is clever, and with the help of his sweetheart, foists an innocent and fake blackmail scheme on both aunt fjid uncle, which makes them agree 10 marriage. Close upon the heels of consent comes a titled lord who greets the chauffeur affectionately and as Ivin nephew. It is an interesting situation. The young man has disguised himself to prove he can win th»» girl and her love even in a menial position. “The Fate of a Flirt” is an exciting picture finely directed by Frank R_ Strayer.
