RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM

“SO’S YOUR OLD MAN” W. C. Fields, supported by Alice Joyce, Buddy Rogers, and a cast of favourites, is spreading laughs at the Rialto and Regent Theatres. This time it is his second Paramount picture, “So’s Your Old Man.” As Mr. Bisbee, who fails ito convince a delegation that he has invented an unbreakable glass, and makes the acquaintance of a princess, Fields is his real funny self in this picture. The Bisbees represented the poorest in town, and were consequently not considered for one moment when arrangements were beine, made to welcome the Princess Laseaboura to town. Not that Bisbee cared at that moment, as he was drowning the sorrow of an evil reputation which had preceded him home from a visit to a nearby town. But when the princess asked for Sam Bisbee at the station, the crowd gaped, and then a frantic search for Sam.
