N.Z. V. LEICESTERSHIRE By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received 8 a.m. LONDON, Friday. The match between New Zealand and Leicestershire was abandoned on account of rain. At the end of the second day’s play, New Zealand, with one wicket to fall, had an advantage of 294 runs.

Leicestershire’s bowling in the second innings was as follows: -Skelding two tickets for 32, Shipman one for 18, AstiM none for one, Snary two for 28, Smith three for 41. and Armstrong none for 20. —A. and N.Z.
