THE QUEEN—HER MARK.
Visiting the lillage of Walpole, ;St. Peter, Norfolk, 15 miles from Sar.dringham, the Queen wrote her name with a diamond on one of the leaded windowpanes of Dovecot Farm, a 16ith century building.. With the rector, the Rev. H. C. Sta verity,. formerly a curate it Sandringham, as her guide, the !}ueen roamed about the village for half in hour. She admired the beauties of the parish church, walked through the ‘Bolt Hole,** a curious archway beneath die altar, and was interested in a Wiliam and Mary Prayer Book, which was presented to the church about 1700.
