WOMAN INJURED

An accident, involving painful injuries, befell Mrs. Laird, of Valley Road, Hikurangi. last evening. As she was proceeding home about 11 p.m. she was knocked down by a fast-moving motorcycle ridden by C. Belton, and had an s,rm and leg rather seriously hurt. The sufferer was removed to her home, where she will be under medical attention for some weeks.
