REGENT BALLROOM
LONG NIGHT TO-NIGHT
The usual long-night will take place in the Regent Ballroom this evening, dancing continuing until midnight. On Tuesday next, the third heat of the popular £25 fox trot competition will be decided, and there will be a dansant on Wednesday. A popular night is held every Thursday. MUSIC AT ZOO A performance will be given by the Municipal Band in the Zoological Park on Sunday at 2.43 p.m. A nicelyvaried programme will include the bright marches “Merry of Heart.’ "Sylvia,” “Changing Guard”; hymn. “Abide With Me”: overture, “Poet and Peasant”; duet for two euphoniums, “Souvenir de Valence,” by Messrs. Purchase and Staley; an interesting selection from the Gilbert and Sullivan operas, a new suite bv the popular writer, Sydney Baynes, “A Coon’s Dav Out"; and other tuneful numbers. SUNDAY CONCERT AT STRAND THEATRE A special Sunday concert will be held in the Strand Theatre to-morrow evening, when a large programme of vocal, instrumental, and orchestral items will be given.
