MOTORIST ARRESTED
CHARGE OF INTOXICATION REMANDED TO JIUNE 21 Alfred John William Thorne, a welldressed man of 56, was charged in. the Police Court this morning; with being found in a state of intoxication while in charge of a car in Alpha Road, Parnell, last night. His counsel, Mr. Bone, asked for a remand until Tuesday, as, he pointed out, Thorne was only bailed at 1.30 this morning and there had not been sufficient time to call witnesses. Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., granted the remand.
