MAY LOSE EYESIGHT
VICTIM OF EXPLOSION Although he is making satisfactory progress, the medical authorities are not very hopeful of saving Daniel Barry’s sight. Mr. Barry was injured in an explosion at Panmure on Tuesday. He received the full force of a charge of blasting powder in his face. He was an experienced quarryman and had made preparation for the work he was doing. It is thought that the charge exploded prematurely.
