PAPAKURA SCHOOL

The Papakura School Committee has decided to commence on Monday next giving a cup of cocoa to each pupil every morning. It is estimated to cost about £2O, for which no doubt an appeal to the public will be necessary, as in former years. Owing to the overcrowded conditions of the school the Board of Education has sanctioned the hiring of the small hall opposite the school. This hall will be used for Standard 111. The Board of Education has notified the Papakura School Committee thai it is endeavouring to get authority from Wellington to build another class-room to cope with the ever-increasing number of children attending the school.
