BOWLING CLUBS' ANNUAL MEETINGS
EDENDALE’S GOOD YEAR At the annual meeting of the Avondale Bowling Club the president, Mr. Frank Stillwell, occupied the chair. There was a good muster of members present. The report showed the club to have had a very successful season, and the financial position is very satisfactory. The secretary, Mr. Goldsmith, reported being unable to carry on next season. He was accorded a heartyvote of thanks for the splendid work he had done. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. Bluck; president, Mr. C. E. Addison; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. Sturgess, W. Brownett and h«. A. Hammond; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. Robert W. Roan; assist-ant-secretary, Mr. S. McMahon; green superintendent, Mr. J. McLeod; asslst-ant-superintendent, Mr. C. Marshall; management committee, Messrs. Anderson, Roy Smith, J. James, and H. Horspool; match committee, Messrs. pturgess, H. Horspool and Ashmore: auditor, Mr. G. Sturgess; first-year coach, Mr. C. Addison; umpires, Messrs orownett and Bradshaw; reporters, Messrs. Greenwood and Addison; delegates to centre, Messrs. Addison and *toan; social committee, Messrs.
