SEARCH FOR HUSBAND MARRIED ONLY FOUR MONTHS Adjourned from the previous day in order that corroborative evidence might be obtained, the petition of Frances Matilda Powell for a divorce from her husband, Gerald Angus Powell, on the grounds of desertion, was concluded before- his Honour Mr. Justice Reed at the Supreme Court yesterday. On the previous day it was said that Powell, who was a planter in Fiji, had married petitioner in Palmerston North in 1920. After four months) of married life he had disappeared, and had not been heard of since, despite the vigilant inquiries made. Corroborative evidence was given by Mr. Dixon, father of the petitioner. A decree nisi was; granted.
