“Bill, whats a heifer—is it a pig or a sheep?” asked two sailors of a friend. Bill paused reflectively. Then he said: “To tell you the truth, mates, I don’t know much about poultry.” Eggs have taken a downward tendency in Auckland during the past week. Poultry-keepers should use every effort to bring all the birds into profit as a further drop can shortly be expected.
