MODELS MUST BE FINISHED CONTEST CLOSES JUNE 30 rE “Old Ironsides’’ Model Boat-building Contest, which has aroused unbounded interest among boys of every age, is now in its last weeks, all models must be banded in to the “Old :Ironsides” Contest Editor on or before June 30. Judging will take place during the next few days.

The three winning models will be used by Paramount Pictures for display purposes in the theatre where “Old Ironsides” will be shown in the near future.

“Old Ironsides” is a Paramount Picture, featuring Wallace Beery and Esther Ralston. It has been called the “Covered Wagon” of the sea. It tells of the fitting out of a 54 gun frigate to rid the Mediterranean of the pirates who menaced its freedom at the beginning of the ISth century. How they rid the sea of the pirates makes a thrilling story and the final

action when “Old Ironsides” sailed right into the Bay of Tripoli and bearded the pirates in their den makes one of the most exciting scenes ever filmed. The competition is open to boys up to 16 years of age. Model builders are invited to apply to “Old Ironsides” Contest Editor, THE SUN, for further information about the ship.
