FARM SCHOOL

The first peripatetic winter farm school helld in this district concluded last evening. The future possibilities of this movement have been fully demonstrated during the period of the present fixture, which proved a distinct success. At all lectures during the two days the attendances of district farmers have been very satisfactory. farmers displaying keen interest in the various subjects. Improved methods for increasing primary production have been able dealt with by various departmental instructors.

Yesterday Mr. T. H. Patterson gave a very able address on top-dressing and its latest developments. Other subjects were cropping and its proper place in grass-farming; farm machinery an dits proper use on dairy farms; the grass flush as hay and ensilage.
