CONGESTED BROADWAY TRAFFIC PROBLEM
BOROUGH ENGINEER TO REPORT The existing traffic congestion which occurs daily in Broadway, engaged the attention of the Newmarket Borough Council for some considerable time at its meeting last night. Mr T Hardley, on behalf of the f* aetS Committee, expressed the opinion that expert advice should ceoarding the creation of iL**"?® outlet to relieve the congested area. A recommendation from the committee that a comprehensive scheme prepared by it with estimated cost , be referred to the engineer traffic inspector and town clerk for them to report on, was adopted.
