DOMINION SOCIETY GOOD SEASON AHEAD The annual general meeting of the Dominion Morning Pigeon Society was held on Monday night, at the eltih rooms, Royal Terrace. Edendalo. Mr. L. Cantell presided over a good attendance of members. The report of the previous season’s workings was read and the club was considered to be in a good financial position. Mr. F. W. Cantell, F. Milham, C». Coles. THE COMING SEASON The coming season appears to be a boom season, for the club members state the yhave any amount of birds waiting to stretch their wings. The old bird schedule was drawn up as follows: September to. Ilum'y. is the first race of the season, then Ti Awamutu, Te Kuiti, Taumarunui, Ohakune, Hunterville, Palmerston Yearling Cup Race, Paekakariki. 'Wellington Old Bird Championship, Blenheim. Taumarunui (.hen birds only, cup race*. Ohakune (3 birds, deck -). Blenheinm and Christchurch. An average prise was allotted to these races. A Dunedin race will be held this season, when the mid-day liberation
