TO-DAY’S OBSERVATIONS Meteorological observations taken at the Albert Park Observatory at 9 a.m. to-day by Captain D. McLeay, the Government Observer:— Barometer, 30.295 inches. Air temperature at 9 a.m., 57 degrees. Temperature in shade yesterday: Maximum 52 degrees, minimum 39 degrees, maximum temperature in sun 104 degrees. Bright sunshine yesterday, 7 hours 25 minutes. Minimum temperature on grass, 30 degrees. Direction of wind at 9 a.m., calm. Velocity wind previous 24 hours, SI miles. Rainfall during previous 24 hours, nil. Rainfall to date this month, 3.02 inches. NORTH ISLAND CONDITIONS Observations taken at 9 a.m.:—
