COMMUNITY SING

STRAND THEATRE, TO-MORROW The “community singing” season opens to-morrow at the Strand Theatre. Everybody is invited to go along and swell the choruses from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. The Mayor of Auckland, Mr. George Baildon, will be in the chair and the Rev. Jasper Calder will be the songleader. The tenor from the Pierrot Company, “Jasper’s, Ltd.,” will sing some solos. Admission and song books are free. “Half an hour at the ‘sing’ will put new. life into you,” declare the organisers.
