WAIKATO RUGBY DISPUTE SETTLED
A SUCCESSFUL CONFERENCE PARTIES REACH AGREEMENT (From. Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Monday. The Rugby dispute between the Waikato Union and the Hamilton SubUnion has been settled and the strained relations which have existed between these two bodies in the past seem to have been banished as the outcome of a conference held in Hamilton this week-end between the management committees of the Waikato Union ard Hamilton sub-unions and three New Zealand Rugby Union delegates, including Mr. S. S. Dean. After a conference which extended until midnight on Saturday and was carried on during the following day, a complete agreement was reached on the points at issue. In future Hamilton will have increased representation on the parent body. Its suggestions were submitted to the New Zealand deelgates, who, after hearing both sides of the case, found on terms acceptable to both parties.
