SOME WOMEN’S PREFERENCES Women who lavish more attention upon lap dogs than upon their children were denounced by a Glasgow minister at a meeting of the Royal Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. “There are countless women.” said the Rev. A. E. Warr, “who love their bridge parties and their lap dogs far j better than they love their children, j There are a number of men who de- , vote far more attention to sport and I amusement than to their families. “Morally and spiritually,” he added, i “these little ones are exposed tu the J cruelty of neglect.”
