A.A.A. MEMBERSHIP 4,500 The visit of Dr. J. PL Lawry, and the Service Officer of the A.A.A., to the Gisborne area, has resulted in a considerably increased interest in the doings of the association in that district, and members there sent up a bundle of some 30 members for election at the meeting of the association council last week. Eighty-two new members were elected, and that is a very good list for this time of the year. After having thoroughly purged the membership list the association total is now about 50 under the 5,000 mark, so that the association dinner to celebrate this figure cannot be much longer delayed.
