£lO Football Competition £lO NO ENTRANCE FEE Send in as Many Coupons as You Like ! Owing to the fact that the ordinary club fixtures in the Soccer and Rugby codes are being suspended next Saturday to make way for special matches, a change will be necessitated in this week’s competition. The main Soccer attractions next Saturday are a representative trial ifiatch and the replay of a Chatham Cup-tie, while in the Rugby two representative matches will be played, viz., Auckland A representatives v. Thames and Auckland B representatives v. South Auckland. The inclusion of these four matches in place of the usual eight club games would leave only eight results for this week. With the big increase in the entries that have been coming forward, and the nearness of so many competitors to a completely accurate forecast with twelve results, it is more than likely that with only eight results (one of which is given in), the competition would prove too easy It has, therefore, been decided to include the senior A grade men’s hockey in this week’s competition, which will thus embrace the four main winter sports. The coupon published in Saturday’s sports edition is therefore cancelled. The Coupons will be published in THE SUN’S Sports Special every Saturday night, and evety night throughout the week until Friday night. The prize will be awarded to the reader who correctly forecasts the eleven results. In the League competition the bye will be allowed a count as one result.
