TRADE UNIONS BILL
FINAL STAGES LAW BY END OF JULY (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 11.30 a.m. RUGBY, Sunday. The House of Commons will reassemble on Monday after the Whitsuntide recess, when the last clauses of the Trade Unions Bill will be considered in committee. This stage of the Bill will be completed on Tuesday, when the new clauses introduced into the measure will be examined. The Government hopes to pass the Bill into law before Parliament rises for the summer holiday, and there is every prospect that the House of Lords will receive the Bill in ample time for the Royal assent to be given, before the end of July.
