Oft-Times Convicted

ONCE EVERY SIX MONTHS MCGEEHAN’S AVERAGE Charles McGeehan has looked upon the wine when it was red, and the ale when it was amber countless times during the last 55 years. His court convictions numbered 110, an average of one for every six months of his life, until this morning, when another one was added. He was found drunk in Nelson Street yesterday, and when Sub-In-spector Lewin told Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., about McGeehan’s list in the Police Court this morning, the magistrate sent him to gaol for 14 days without the option of a fine.
