VALUABLE BEQUEST
BOOKS FOR LIBRARY The city library has become the richer for a valuable bequest of 625 books from the estate of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shaw. Many rare volumes are included, a book printed in the 15th Century, and several first editions of value are among the collection. Books from this source now total 1,600, and the Fred Shaw bequests rank only next to those of Sir George Grey and Mr. Henry Shaw.
