“2LO LONDON CALLING”

RELAYS BY PCJJ The test relay some weeks ago of the premier broadcasting station in the world, 2LO, London, by the Dutch short-w'ave station, PCJJ, led to a good deal of favourable comment in New Zealand and Australia. Now comes the news that the station will be broadcasting a relay from 2LO as a regular feature. The broadcast will be on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 4.30 to 7.30 o’clock, on 30.2 metres. This transmission will do much to help low-wave reception in New Zealand, since these low-waves will gain a good deal of favour among listenersin. It is to be hoped that this step of the Philips Company will hasten the erection of the proposed low-wave station in England.
