FOGS TOO GREAT By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright NEW YORK, Tuesday. A message from Fairbanks, Alaska, states that fog, which last year prevented the exploration of the “blind spot” in the Arctic Sea, has again proved too great a handicap. Captain G. H. Wilkins, leader of the Detroit Arctic expedition, who had intended to try to fly to Greenland, now announces the cancellation of further attempts this season.—A. and N.Z.
