The insurance section is in good tone but no sales are reported, and more buyers are quoting. Alining is quiet. The' better classes of miscellaneous stocks are registering increased activity, and several parcels are being dealt with on a firm market. Tonson Garlicks are weaker. Tonson Garlick Dividend .—Ac the annual meeting of Tonson Garlick, Ltd. the date for payment of the dividend of 8 per cent, and a bonus of Is per share, was left to the discretion of the directors. They now announce June 20 as the date for payment. North American Produce Values.—The Canadian agents of the New Zealand Dairy Produce Control Board advise the following North American values: Butter: Vancouver, cents (3s 6 3-8 d); Montreal, cents (Is 5 3-8 d); New York, 43 cents (Is 9Jd); San Francisco, 41 cents (Is Tid).
