Tolstoy’s “Resurrection,” produced by Inspiration Pictures, Inc., and Edwin Carewe, was shown for the first time in any theatre when it opened at the Rialto Theatre, Newark, on March 17. where the event was made a gala affair, and on its merits the United Artists picture was accorded an ovation.
