PICKED UP IN GUTTER

BOY INJURED EARLY MORNING ACCIDENT A T 5.30 o’clock this morning a boy of 13 was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from shock and injuries to his head. All he remembers to-day is that he was picked up in the gutter in Victoria Avenue, near the Remuera Road. The lad is Arnold Munyard, of 4 Boyle Crescent. He is not seriously injured, but it will be some time before he recovers. It is believed that Munyard was knocked down by a motor vehicle this morning, but until he has recovered he cannot give an account of the accident. He is progressing satisfactorily in the Auckland Hospital.
