Business Depression

IS THE ENDJN SIGHT? (Special to THE SUN.') CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Is it possible to see the end of the present depression? With the exception of some wholesalers, business opinion in Christchurch supports the report made to the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce by the economic committee, which maintained that brighter business days are ahead of the Dominion. The real estate market as a whole is indicative of changing times. People who have been hanging back expecting the market to fall further show an inclination to purchase, and those who built during the boom seem more content to cut the losses, realising that building materials are now' cheaper, and that a steadier level of prices has been reached.
