TOFUA FROM ISLANDS. —Cable advice received by the Union Company states that the Tofua left Apia on Saturday and arrived at Suva last evening. She is to clear Suva tomorrow afternoon for Auckland and arrives here next Monday.

HINEMOA SAILS 3 P.M.—Spedding, Limited, advises that the Government steamer Hinemoa leaves Auck- * land at 3 p.m. to-day for Niue Island, and is due back here on June 22. MAIMYO REPORTED. —News has been received by the C. and D. Line that the chartered steamer Maimyo left Panama on June 4 en route from New York to New Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland about June 30. PORT DARWIN LEAVES MONTEVIDEO. —The C. and D. Line has been notified that the Port Darwin left Montevideo on June 4, en route from Port Chalmers to London. The vessel sailed from the Otago port on May 12. PORT DUNEDIN LEAVES PANAMA.—A cable message received by the C. and D. Line reports that the Port Dunedin left Panama Canal on June 3 for New Zealand ports, en route from London. The vessel is due- at Wellington about JLine 25. COAL FROM NEWCASTLE. —Advice received by the Union Company states that the Kaitoke is now loading coal at Newcastle and will complete at Sydney with general cargo for Auckland. The Kaiwarra is now loading a full cargo of soal at Newcastle for Auckland. CARGO FROM AUSTRA L! A.—The Union Company has been advised that the Kaiapoi was to leave Adelaide yesterday, Edithburg on June 10, and Melbourne on June 14 for Hobart, where she completes loading for Dunedin, Lyßelton, Auckland and Portland. SYDNEY STEAMERS. —The Union Company advises that the Marama from Sydney has been delayed by an easterly gale and is due to arrive at Wellington this morning. She is scheduled to leave Wellington on her return trip at 3 p.m. on Friday. The Maheno is announced to sail from Auckland at 11 a.m. on Friday for Sydney. CORINTHIC’S PROGRAMME.—L. IX Nathan and Company advises that . the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic leaves Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day for Auckland and arrives here on Friday afternoon. She completes discharge at Auckland and commences loading - here for her return voyage. She sails from this port on June 14 for Napier, Lyttelton and. Wellington to fill up, and is to depart finally from Wellington at daybreak on June 29 for Southampton and London, via Panama. MARYLAND SAILING SATURDAY. —Messrs. Robert Millar and Company advises that they expect to dispatch the Atlantic Transport Company’s steamer Maryland on Saturday next for the Islands to load phosphates for a destination not yet announced. The vessel arrived at Auckland on June 2 and since then has been discharging a cargo of raw sugar from Cuba at Chelsea. ANTONIO DELAYED. —The continual downpour of rain yesterday delayed discharging operations on the steamer Antonio which is unloading a cargo of case oil from Texas at the Western Wharf. Messrs. Robert Millar and Company advises that the departure of the vessel for Napier, WellNew Plymouth, Beauty Point (Tasmania), Melbourne and Adelaide has been postponed until to-morrow. MELBOURNE STEAMER. The Union Company advises that the Moeraki arrived at Bluff this morning from Melbourne. She later proceeds to Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due at the latter port on Saturday. and sails at 10 p.m. next Tuesday for Melbourne direct. CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST.— Advice had been received by the Union Company that the Waihemo, which has been loading at Pacific Coast ports, cleared San Francisco on Saturday for Apia, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth. She at Wellington on June 30. HUNTINGDON’S ITINERARY.— The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Huntingdon will leave Wellington on Saturday for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff to complete her discharge of Liverpool She will also load at Port Chalmers and Bluff, subsequently filling up at Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington. and Auckland. The vessel is due here on July 15, and is announced to sail finally from Auckland on July 20 for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool (taking cargo also for Manchester;.

PORT HARDY’S ITINERARY.—The C. and D. Line steadier Port Hardy will leave New Plymouth early next week to load at Picton, Bluff, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton. Wellington, Gisborne and Auckland. She is to sail from Auckland on June 30 for New York, Boston, and London.

ROTORUA POSTPONED.—The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the liner Rotorua leaves Auckland on Saturday for Napier and Wellington to complete her loading. She is •now scheduled to sail finally from Wellington at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, for Southampton and London, via Panama.

THE CITY OF KHARTOUM.— Owing to the heavy rain yesterday, the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer City of Khartoum was unable to finish her discharge. It is now hoped to dispatch her this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff to put out the remainder of her New York cargo. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL.—The Federal Company have received notice of the following projected departures from Liverpool for New Zealand ports: Westmoreland, July 9, for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Somerset, July 23, for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. Kent, August 6, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. Northumberland, September 3, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dtmedin. Cumberland, September 17; Hertford, October 1: Huntingdon, October 29; Tekoa, November 12; a steamer yet to be nominated on November 26; and the on December 24, will also bring general cargo to New Zealand ports. MENACE TO SH I PPI NG.—Although it is live .years since, the hulk .Selwyn Craig was blown up, the debris on the bed of the harbour is still there, and causing trouble. A -diver of the Auckland J-larbour Board has made investigation, and he reports that the frame of '•the hulk is an obstruction to vessels which drpp their anchor in the vicinity. At a meeting of the Harbour Board yesterday afternoon a letter was received from the master of the Maryland, which broke loose in the harbour last week, stating that as soon as the moorings parted both anchors were let go, out one of them got tangled in the remains of the hulk. It was resolved to request the Union Steam Ship Company to remove the remains of the huik.

MAMARI FROM LONDON. The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Mamari arrived at Auckland last night from London. She anchored in the explosive anchorage off Motuihi this morning to discharge 330 tons of high explosives for the vessels of the New' Zealand division of the Royal Navy. The vessel also has on board a ( quantity of general merchandise for discharge at other New Zealand ports. The Mamari left London on April 27, and passed through Panama on May 15, experiencing a fair ■weather voyage across the Pacific. Messrs. A. S. Paterson, the local agents, expect to despatch the Mamari at 5 p.m. to-morrow in continuation of her voyage to Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. Captain S. O. Falconer is in command of the vessel and has associated with him the following officers:—Chief, Mr. H. Thompson; second, Mr. C. Moffatt; third, Mr. P. Campbell; chief engineer, Mr. R. The Rarawa, which arrived this morning from New Plymouth, is scheduled to sail at 3 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Ngatiawa is due at Onehunga at 6 o’clock to-morrow morning from Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato. She will be despatched at 2 p.m. the same day for Hokianga.
