SLIP OF EARTH
RAILWAY BLOCKED DELAY ON WAIHI LINE The recent heavy rains in the Waihi district loosened some earth along the railway line Yesterday afternoon there was a slight slip on the line between Paeroa and Waihi. The train which leaves Paeroa at 5.30 o'clock for Waihi was delayed for about 15 minutes while the earth was removed. No damage was done to the permanent way.
