“DEAD” BOYS’ RETURN Lost during the German invasion of Northern France 13 years ago, a French youth named Gabriel Ramon ha 3 been found alive and well in England. On October 3, 1914, Gabriel, who was then 13 years old. was playing in the street at Mericourt, in the Pas de Calais when he took fright at the approach of some German horsemen, and fled to Lens, and thense to Calais. It is believe he was taken on board j the Admiral Ganteaume, with other refugees, bound for La Rochelle. It was afterwards stated that the ship struck a mine and went down with all on board. The father was given a certificate of | his son’s death, but now he has been | informed by the French Consul in ' London that Gabriel is alive.
