Never before has the favourite star had a role which gives her such opportunities to provide her onlookers with real, hilarious fun. From start to finish “Stranded in Paris” is one long riot of mirth, and it make an ideal holiday attraction. Excellent J. C. Williamson Celebrity Vaudeville is provided by Donald Stuart, the high and mighty one of mirth and mystery, while Eddie Horton’s song slides are a tremendous success. The Operatic Orchestra, under the baton of Maurice Guttridge. plays a splendid musical programme, including the overture, “Raymond” (Thomas), and there is a first-rate bill of supports.
