MOTOR-CYCLE MISHAPS

COLLISION WITH CAR As the result of a collision between a car and a motor-cycle at Onehunga about 4 p.m. yesterday, Mr. Millen. the rider of the cycle, was admitted to hospital suffering from a broken ankle. He was turning from Upper Queen Street into Campbell Road when the accident happened. The cycle was extensively damaged. Mr. Millen, who resides at Ladies’ Mile, Remuera, is reported to be progressing favourably. A motdr-cycle knocked down .Miss Rene Peterson, a waitress at the Alvine Private Hotel. Khyber Pass Road, about 4.30 p.m- yesterday, in Queen Street. Miss Peterson was attended to by the St. John Ambulance and admitted to the Auckland Hospital. Her condition is satisfactory.
