OTHER CHARGES PENDING

ALLEGED CHEQUE FORGERY When William Ernest Kilroy, aged 40, appeared in the Police Court this morning, Chief-Detective Cummings asked for a remand to June 16. The charge against Kilroy was one of having forged the name of W. Wall to an endorsement to a cheque drawn by Hardleys, Ltd., on the Commercial Bank of Australia at Newmarket, on January 17. “There are two other minor charges pending,” explained Mr. Cummings, “both arising out of the same set of circumstances.” Bail of £SO was granted.
