FLITTER FLUTTERS

A promising sort of maiden was produced at Ellerslie on Saturday. This was the three-year-old Marble-Arch— Freebird filly Flitter, who contested the Ranfurly Handicap. She began very smartly and led the field to the home turn, when she retired, finally finishing tenth. Flitter showed so much speed early in the race that many are now waiting to see her placed in a race suitable for her. The filly is trained at Te Aroha by M. L. Lipsey.
