A significant addition to the all too meagre ranks of screen comedians is given the public in Little Billy, who plays the leading role in “Oh, Baby,” a Universal-Jewel picture. Little Billy, the tiny actor who forgot to grow up, measures 40in. in height, and is 2S y€*ars of age. At the age of 12 his well-developed talent at dancing, impersonations and monologues attracted the attention of vaudeville managers, who promptly booked him. For many years now Little Billy has been a great favourite on the principal American vaudeville circuits.
Tom Mix’s dad had never seen liis son act before the camera until he arrived in Hollywood recently for his first visit. Tom said, during the making of the Fox attraction, “The Broncho Twister.” that his father’s presence compelled him to make the role just a little better than anything he had done before. The elder Mix is well past his 70th year, but when he went on location he showed the Mix broncho busters how horses are ridden in his native state of Texas.
