AVONDALE’S STABLES

Owners of stables in Avandale are particularly interested in a resolution to come before the Borough Council for confirmation to-morrow evening. This, passed by the council on May 11, proposes, inter alia, to make a by-law-defining a prohibited area for stables and the keeping of horses. Avondale promises to be a. popular horse-training rendezvous as the result of the Jockey Club’s scheme of improvements, including training tracks. Several owners of property in the district had in view the erection of stables, but further developments are awaited as the proposed sites are within easy reach of the township.
