A salute of 41 rounds was fired at St James Park in the forenoon. All the Royal family took luncheon at the Palace and for that reason unattended the races at Epsom. The grpetinqs included a message from the Duck and Duchess of York, who sent a message from the Renown. The King as a birthday gift has provided six acres of the Royal paddocks at Bisley Park for the furtherance of the National Playing Fields movement. A. and N.Z.
