CHURCH SERVICES

Services at St. Matthew’s Church are the same as usual with the exception of the morning service, at which the King’s Birthday and Empire Day will be celebrated. Canon Grant Cowen will be the preacher, and the choir will sing the anthem “Zadok the Priest.” livered by the Rev. J. Z. Litt, vicar of St. George’s, Ranfurly Road. The Churches of Christ Association is holding its usual Sunday services at its various churches. The speakers will be: Ponsonby Road, Mr. H. P. Lans; Dominion Road, Mr. F. W. Greenwood; Onehunga, Mr. "W. E. Vickery; Richmond, Mr. J. T. Bull; Avondale, Mr. Hughes. At the Methodist Central Mission the Rev. C. G. Scrimegour is still carrying on his big evangelistic services, which are meeting with strong support. Mrs. Harris-Roberts continues to attract large audiences to the meetings held by the Spiritual Scientists’ Church in Newton Chambers. To-morrow she is to speak on ‘‘The Possibilities of the Aquarian Age."
