jlr. W. H. Ballinger, of Wellington, Is staying at the Star Hotel. At the Central Hotel are Sir William and Lady Hall-Jones, of Wellington. Hr. C. S. Plank, Deputy-Chief Telegraph Engineer, Wellington, is paying a visit to Auckland. Hr. Efrem Zimbalist, the celebrated violinist, left for Rotorua to-day. He will go on to Australia by the Aorangi. Messrs. W. Carnahan, Rowlands, Grove and Reynolds (2) returned ro Auckland this morning by the Hinemoa from a trip to Norfolk Island. Among the guests at the Hotel Stonehurst are Mr. J. .Fulbrook, of Kings Norton, England, and Mr. R. Snow, of Christchurch. Visitors staying at the Hotel Cargen include Judge F. C.
