R. E. SASH Exquisite appliqued motifs In tones of violet, petunia and green give to this original gown of mignonette green Santoy a delightful air of “difference." A touch of smocking on each shoulder and below the waist-line and a quaint little tie fastening close to the neck strike a note of near-demureness. The total cost of this frock Is £1 1s 2d. * * * * 6th, MISS MARSACK—Mandarin blue repp effectively combined with floral crepe de chine in which rose shadings predominate fashion this dainty fropk. BENSON—Fine textured repp in a light mulberry hue was used in the making of this frock. A latticed collar of deeper toned crepe de chine and a dainty binding of the same material give a pretty touch to the hem and sleeves and quaint panels on the bodice, while lines of embroidery in maize and mulberry silk give just the necessary relief to the rather severe design. The skirt is finely pleated at each side. The total cost of this frock was £1 7s 6d. Details of the awards and the comments Of the judges will be Found in a specially written article on page 7.
