PERPETUAL TRUSTEES’ ACTIVITIES.—A dividend at the rate of 15 per cent, per annum has been declared by the directors of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Co. Ltd. for the half-year ended April 30. The annual report of the company for the year ended on that date shows a profit of £7,290. Including the sum brought forward from last year this leaves £8,253 available for distribution.

Goldsbrough Mort. Pay 15 per cent.— A dividend at the rate of ten per cent, per annum and a bonus of five per cent, was decided on by the directors of the Goldsbrough Mort. Company, Ltd., at a meeting held on May 20. It was also decided to make a new issue at £1 15s per share in the proportion of one share for every seven held.

London Produce Quotations. —Under date June 2, the London Office of Dalgety and Company advise the following London quotations:—Butter—The market is steady at present prices. New Zealand, 168 s to 170 s; Danish, 170 s; Australian, finest salted, 168 s to 170 s; Australian, finest unsalted, 172 s to 1745. Cheese—The market is quiet New Zealand, white, 86s; ditto., coloured, 88s; Canadian, white and coloured, 94s to 100 s.

London Tallow Quotations. —Under date June 1 the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company cable the following tallow quotations:—Fine mutton 36 s a cwt.; good beef, 38s a cwt.;’ mixed, 34s 9d a cwt. The quotations are more or less nominal.
