KAIPARA TRAIN

COMPLAINT FROM TRAVELLERS ALTERATION URGED A deputation consisting of waterside ■workers and others waited on Mr. E. Casey, divisional superintendent North Island Railways, yesterday afternoon, to ask that the 11 p.m. Wednesday train on the Kaipara line be allowed to run at 10.15 p.m., as on other evenings. Members of the deputation stated that delaying the train from 10.15 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesdays caused a considerable inconvenience, especially to waterside workers. Mr. Casey promised to investigate the complaint and said that he would have tallies taken on the respective trains over a certain period.
