HAMILTON BUS SERVICE
LICENCE CANCELLED AUCKLAND BUYS VEHICLES (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. A decision to revoke the authority granted to the Watson Bus Company and to George Soames to conduct omnibus services in the No. 4 motor omnibus district, was made on Wednesday night by the Hamilton Borough Council, when it sat as a Mcensing authority. The grounds on which the decision was arrived at were that the buses concerned had not complied with the requirements under the licences.
Part of the Watson Bus Company fleet (the green buses), is now operating in Auckland, and the remainder leave Hamilton to-morrow, the buses having been disposed of to a community club in Auckland.
