BOUNDARY CASE
JUDGMENT AGAINST CROWN Judgment against the Crown was riven to-day by his Honour Mr. Justice Skerrett, Chief Justice, in a disputed boundary case. The suppliant was Robert S. Hand. The question in the suit was whether the Crown was entitled to revise the western boundary of the suppliant’s land. His Honour found that the suppliant *as entitled to possession of that part cf Lot 8 now in the possession of the Crown and which was part of his land as defined by Mr. Dawson’s survey, the precise boundaries to be denned if necessary and liberty to either Party to apply for that purpose. Judgment would be entered for the •uppliant for £2O damages to be reduced to £1 if within ten days from the date of this jtidgment the Crown undertook that it will forthwith after the final determination of the action above re-erect the fence in a proper banner upon the western boundary of the suppliant’s land, as defined by this judgment: the suppliant would have the costs of suit on the lowest scale with w itnesses’ expenses and disbursements.
