NEW GOODS SHED

STEEL DUE SHORTLY WORK GOING AHEAD Although theer is no outward sign of the big goods shed being built at the new' Auckland RaiUvay Station yards, work is being done by the contractors. Steel for the upper structure of the shed has not come to hand, but when it does the work of erecting the shed will go ahead quickly. This should be in about two or three weeks’ time. A considerable amount of steel has arrived from England for the framework of the shed, and is being fabricated by the contractors. But for the strike in England, work on the goods shed w'ould be well ahead.
