A Girl's Thefts
£1,392 INVOLVED QUESTION OF PROBATION Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday When Nancy Hastings Carr, found guilty of the theft of £1,892, appeared for sentence to-day, her counsel made 'an appeal for probation on the ground of the girl’s general good character. Mr. Justice Adams remanded her till Monday to consider the question.
